Telecom package meetings on Wednesday

Wednesday November 4 there will be a series of consecutive meetings held in the European Parliament about the telecom package. From the notice sent out by the Conciliation Secretariat:

19h00: Delegation meeting
20h00: Trilogue
21h00: Conciliation Committee

The proceedings on 4 November will start with the meetings of both Parliament’s and Council’s delegations to the Conciliation Committee at 19h00.

Then a trilogue will take place at 20h00, at which Parliament will be represented by its negotiating team (Mr. Vidal-Quadras, Mr. Reul and Ms Trautmann), the Council will be represented by Minister Torstensson and Commissioner Reding will represent the Commission.

The negotiating team will report back to Parliament’s delegation on the outcome of this trilogue. Depending on the result of the negotiations, this will be followed by either another trilogue or the Conciliation Committee.
