Conférence à Nuremberg les 11 et 12 Septembre prochain

Hi all,

as some of You already know, I've got real exciting news:

The district party of Middle Frankonia organizes and sponsors a two-day event in Nuremberg (September 11th) and Berlin (September 12th) with:

- Christian Engström (MEP)
- Samir Allioui (PPI Co-President, Chairman of PP-NL)
- Emanuel Kotzian (Direct candidate for Nuremberg North)

The main goal is to motivate voters, to attract the attention of press and media and to push our direct candidate for the federal elections in Germany. However, this a great opportunity for us to show the PPI emerged unscathed from it's crisis and that the core team is ready to play an active part.

Here's the blueprint (planning is still in progress):

09/11:
- Engström and CoreTx arrive in Nuremberg around noon
- Press-tour with interviews in the afternoon
- Panel discussion in a hall for around 200 ppl
(Slots: Engström 50%, CoreTx 25%, Emmi 25%)

09/12:
- Engström and CoreTx fly to Berlin
- Some interviews around noon
- Engstöm and CoreTx take part in the demonstration "Freedom not fear"
(no political speakers allowed there)

I'd like to emphasize that the district party of Middle Franconia will accept all travel- and hotel costs for CoreTx. What an awesome bunch!


And here's the catch: we've got work to do and no time to waste!

(1) Prearrangement: the Bavarian party congress in Munich

As I mentioned some time ago there is no substitute to personal contact in my opinion. Hence I'd like to ask all of you to join us in Munich next Saturday (August 29th).
- Valio, Pingu and I will come for sure.
- Cwicket and David are invited - I'd love to see you there.

It's vital for CoreTx to participate so he can meet all of us as well as the pirates from my district party. However, he needs our help! A ticket from NL to Munich costs around 120 Euro. I asked the bavarian treasurer for some financial support but if that's insufficient I have to ask you for help: let's club together! I hope I'll know by Wednesday.


(2) Preparation

Pingu and I help coordinate the event in Nuremberg on September 11th. Pingu organizes the panel discussion and I'll arrange the details for the schedule.

CoreTx and I collect informations on CoreTx himself, PP-NL and the PPI for a press information kit published by my district party.

@Valio: as far as I know you currently work on the PPI logo. Did you get a template from Andrew and/or will David H. help designing a new one? Is there anything we can do to support you?

@All: We are allowed to promote the PPI with flyers and give-aways (stickers, pins, ...) during these events. I'd like to have a battle plan by Wednesday so we can get startet as soon as possible and discuss the first results during our next IRC meeting on Thursday:

* Who of you is experienced in DTP and can help Valio (if needed)?
* Who is able to produce press reports in English and German (at first):
- for flyers and hand-outs
- a press information kit
* Who has contacts to the blogsphere and/or international press agents?

We don't have a mailing list yet so please include all of us in your replies! I'll try to stick in #ppi-coreteam as much as possible and as much as my daytime job allows me to.

Trad à venir , je poste déjà l'original, mais pour les quelques anglophones, il y a déjà à manger.
Pour info, le congrès Bavarois auquel je suis invité à lieu ce Samedi à Munich, mais le délai me semble un e court pour pouvoir m'arranger.
En revanche cette fameuse conférence à Nuremeberg me parait déjà nettement plus jouable.
Je peux y aller, ce serait bien d'y aller au moins à deux, afin de participer aux frais à plusieurs.
